    WA STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

On the 17th of March this year, the Premier announced a major new cost of living measure with every WA school student to receive a special payment to assist with expenses.

Tackling the cost of living is our number one priority.  The WA Student Assistance Payment is available to help parent and carers with the cost of sending their children to school, with payments of $250 for each secondary school student and $150 for each primary school student and kindergarten student.

To access the payment, parents simply need their child’s WA Student Number and apply through the ServiceWA app by Friday 28 June 2024.

To find out more, head to: education.wa.edu.au/wasap

Attached is the printable version for any parents who do not have access to the app, however, paper forms need to be posted and received before the June 28 deadline.
